Hadith on Dhikr: Angels declare forgiveness for circles of remembrance

Sahl ibn Hanzalah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No people sit together to remember Allah Almighty and stand to leave until a heavenly caller says to them: Stand and your sins are forgiven by Allah! Your bad deeds have been replaced with good deeds!

عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًا يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِيهِ فَيَقُومُونَ حَتَّى يُقَالَ لَهُمْ قُومُوا قَدْ غَفَرَ اللهُ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وبُدِّلَتْ سَيِّئَاتُكُمْ حَسَنَاتٍ
