Hadith on Prayer: The two calls to prayer are revealed in a dream

Abu Abdullah ibn Zaid reported: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered for a bell to made that could be struck to gather people for the prayer, I saw in a dream that a man went around me carrying a bell in his hand. I said, “O servant of Allah, may I buy the bell?” He said, “What will you do with it?” I said, “I will call to prayer with it.” He said, “Shall I not tell you what is better than that?” I said, “Of course!” He said, “That you say: Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest! I bear witness there is no god but Allah, I bear witness there is no god but Allah! I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah! Come to the prayer, come to the prayer! Come to salvation, come to salvation! Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest! There is no god but Allah!” Then he stepped back not far from me and he said, “And that you say when establishing the prayer: Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest! I bear witness there is no god but Allah! I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah! Come to prayer! Come to salvation! The prayer has been established, the prayer has been established! Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest! There is no god but Allah!” When I awakened, I went to the Prophet and told him what I had seen. The Prophet said, “Verily, you have seen the truth if Allah wills. Stand with Bilal and tell him what you have seen that he will call to prayer with it, for his voice is louder than yours.” I stood with Bilal and told him of it and he called to prayer with it. Umar ibn Al-Khattab heard it in his house, so he came out trailing his cloak and he said, “O Messenger of Allah, I have seen what he has seen as well.” The Prophet said, “To Allah is all praise.”
