Hadith on Peace: The better of them initiates the greeting of peace

Abu Ayyub reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “It is not lawful for a Muslim to boycott his brother for more than three nights, when they meet each other and turn away from each other. The better of the two is the one who initiates the greeting of peace.”
