Hadith on Qiblah: Prayer towards Mecca is valid between two cardinal directions

Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whatever is between the east and west is the direction of prayer (al-qiblah).”

Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to At-Tirmidhi

Ahmad ibn Khalid said, “It was said about Medina. Whoever has his direction of prayer similar to Medina, it is an extended length between east and west. For the rest of the countries, the direction of prayer is a similar extended length in the north, south, and so on.”

قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَهُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَمَنْ كَانَتْ قِبْلَتُهُ مِثْلَ قِبْلَةِ الْمَدِينَةِ فَهُوَ فِي سِعَةٍ مَا بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَلِسَائِرِ الْبُلْدَانِ مِنَ السِّعَةِ فِي الْقِبْلَةِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ فِي الْجَنُوبِ وَالشَّمَالِ وَنَحْوِ ذَلِكَ
