Sulayman on Fasting: Behave with serenity, dignity when fasting

Ibn al-Mubarak reported: Sulayman ibn Musa, may Allah have mercy on him, said, “When you fast, let your hearing, seeing, and tongue fast from falsehood, and do not harm your servants. You must behave with serenity and dignity. Do not make the days you fast the same as days you are not fasting.”
