Hadith on Poor: Do not turn away the poor, sincere believers

Sa’d reported: We were with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when the idolaters said to the Prophet, “Drive these people away, lest they turn against us.” The Prophet thought within himself whatever Allah willed him to think, then Allah Almighty revealed the verse, “Do not turn away those who call upon their Lord in the morning and evening, seeking his countenance.” (6:52)
