Hadith on Prayer: Waiting for consecutive prayers is a spiritual fortress

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Shall I not tell you about a deed by which Allah will expiate your sins and raise your status?” They said, “Of course, O Messenger of Allah.” The Prophet said, “Perform ablution even when it is difficult, take many steps to the mosque, and wait for one prayer after another, for that is like guarding the frontier.”
