Malik on Knowledge: Teaching, learning in mosque is jihad

Malik reported: Abu Bakr ibn Abdur Rahman, may Allah have mercy on him, used to say, “Whoever departs to the mosque in the morning, intending to go nowhere else and to teach goodness, or to learn it himself, and then he returns to his house, he is like one who strives in jihad in the way of Allah and returns with spoils.”
