Hadith on Allah: Glory of Allah revealed would consume all creation

Abu Musa reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah Almighty does not sleep, nor is it befitting that he sleep. He lowers and raises the balance of justice. Deeds ascend to him by night before the work of the day, and deeds ascend to him by day before the work of the night. His veil is light. If he were to reveal himself, the splendor of his countenance would consume his creation as far as the eye can see.”
