Hadith on Asceticism: Be in this world as a stranger or traveler

Ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler along a path.

Ibn Umar used to say, “If you make it to the evening, then do not wait for the morning. If you make it to the morning, then do not wait for the evening. Take from your health for your sickness, and from your life for your death.”
