Allah Almighty said:

O you who have faith, fear Allah and be with those who are true.

Surat al-Tawbah 9:119

And Allah said:

Verily, the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women, the obedient men and obedient women, the truthful men and truthful women, the patient men and patient women, the humble men and humble women, the charitable men and charitable women, the fasting men and fasting women, the men who guard their chastity and the women who do so, the men who remember Allah often and the women who do so, for them Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward.

Surat al-Ahzab 33:35

And Allah said:

If they had been true to Allah, it would have been better for them.

Surat Muhammad 47:21

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

You must be truthful. Verily, truthfulness leads to righteousness and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man continues to be truthful and encourages honesty until he is recorded with Allah as truthful. And beware of falsehood. Verily, falsehood leads to wickedness and wickedness leads to the Hellfire. A man continues tell lies and encourages falsehood until he is recorded with Allah as a liar.

Leave what makes you doubt for what does not make you doubt. Verily, truth brings peace of mind and falsehood sows doubt.
